INTERNSHIP: SUPPLY CHAIN [AUTUMN TERM 2024]

We are:

A strongly growing international manufacturer of windows, skylights, blind- and flyscreen systems for campers and caravans. Horrex, a member of the Driving Change Group, was founded over 30 years ago and has a good market position in Europe, Asia, Oceania, and North America. We do business with OEMs, converters, wholesalers, and dealers in 25+ countries. Our markets are dynamic and offer a great perspective for the future. Current trends, like a vacation in your own country, will help create an increase in people who go camping and offer the potential to serve a new group of customers.

 

Our headquarters are in Vlaardingen and we also have production facilities in the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, the United States, and the Far East. From our headquarters, a dedicated and highly educated team is responsible for the central Marketing & Sales, Purchasing, Finance, R&D, and Supply Chain. Horrex focuses on the development of new high-end products and product combinations for our current markets and growing into other markets.

 

Our vision for the future is not only the continuous development of our current portfolio at Horrex and our start-ups but also the production of new and innovative products and expanding our product portfolio to achieve our goal of becoming a total supplier for our customers.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic interns starting August/ September 2023

 

We are looking for:

• A Bachelor's student in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade Management, International Business & Management, Business administration or equivalent.

• You are motivated and take initiative.

• You have an eye for efficiency and are analytical.

• You are proactive and search for solutions.

• You can communicate (speaking and writing) in English. Dutch/Chinese are an advantage.

 

A few things you will learn here:

• Reporting Suppliers Performance 

• Real-Time management (Coordinating SC responsibilities)

• Booking in incoming goods

• Processing data in our ERP system

• Preparing forecasting overviews

• Monitoring & ordering parts.

• Supporting logistics in sending goods

• Warehouse support including stock keeping

• Work order preparation

What are we looking for

At Driving Change we are always looking for motivated, enthusiastic students who are not afraid to work on challenging assignments. An internship with us offers a lot of freedom and responsibility combined with an excellent supervision. We also offer an internship compensation.
