Your role as Assistant Controller
As Assistant Controller, you play an essential role in our financial organization. You will ensure that the financial administration is correct in every detail and contribute to monitoring the financial position of our company.
Your responsibilities:
✅ Ensure accurate, complete and timely processing of financial and administrative data
✅ Manage cash and handle payments
✅ Monitor payment deadlines for accounts receivable management
✅ Checking and entering purchase and sales invoices
✅ Compile balance sheet, profit and loss accounts and financial reports
✅ Prepare financial reports
✅ Taking care of VAT declarations and other tax matters
✅ Perform and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable administration
✅ Drawing up and monitoring company and departmental budgets
✅ Collecting and checking time sheets
✅ Manage insurance policies and apply for subsidies
✅ Applying legal and company-specific financial regulations
✅ Observing HR tasks in the absence of the HR officer

What do you bring?
✔ Minimum HBO working and thinking level in finance, business economics or similar direction
✔ At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial position
✔ Excellent command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing
✔ A keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset
✔ Experience with common software applications, including Microsoft Office
✔ Proactive attitude and problem-solving ability

📌 Employment: fixed term / indefinite term
💰 Salary: €3,200 - €4,000 per month (based on 40 hours, depending on education and experience)
🕒 Working hours: day shift, minimum 32 hours per week
